(Irvine, KY) On Monday February 27, 2012 at 2:26 am EST Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post was contacted by the Estill County 911 dispatch center, to request that KSP investigate a collision involving Irvine Police Department Officer James Gross and George Davis.  Trooper First Class Toby Coyle responded to KY 52 / Richmond Road where the collision occurred and began his investigation. 

(Irvine, KY)- On February 2, 2012 at 11:05 pm EST the Kentucky State Police (KSP) responded to a shooting complaint in Estill County.   

(Irvine, KY)- On Monday December 19, 2011 at approximately 4:00 am EST the victim was leaving her home in Estill County going to work when her ex-boyfriend (Geraldo Ortiz Jr) grabbed her from behind. The female victim was stabbed several times and forced into a vehicle.  Gerald Ortiz Jr. drove the victim to a rural part of Madison County and assaulted her.
