MANCHESTER, KY — For inspiring students to think about energy efficiency, the Goose Rock Elementary School PRIDE Club earned southern and eastern Kentucky’s PRIDE Environmental Education Project of the Month Award. Ms. Marsha Robertson’s class Ms. Amanda Robinson’s class
PRIDE presented plaques to the two classes that won the Goose Rock Elementary PRIDE Club’s contest for decorating classroom doors to promote energy conservation. Ms. Marsha Robertson’s class was the primary-grade winner, and Ms. Amanda Robinson’s class was the upper-grade winner. The PRIDE Club won the region’s PRIDE Environmental Education Project of the Month Award.
