Sheriff John Root is reporting that Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Kirk Mays conducted a traffic stop on a silver BMW that failed to signal a turn and weaving across the centerline on the roadway on U.S. 25 in London on Saturday night at approx. 10:29 P.M.
Sheriff John Root is reporting that Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Greg Turner received a complaint that a female subject was seen coming out of a locked garage on Roy McHargue Road, 6 miles south of London on Sunday afternoon (2-26-2012) at approx. 2:00P.M. When Deputy Turner arrived he learned that the homeowner came home from church and observed a female subject coming out of their garage.

Upon arrival at the scene deputies discovered a 2 year old male child with bruising and marks all over his body consistent with being struck by some type of instrument, hands, and by other means..
