DUI arrest in southern Laurel County


Laurel County, KY -  Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Cody Faulconer arrested Jefferson Seabaugh age 61 of Prairie Village, Kansas on Tuesday night December 6, 2016 at approximately 7:57 PM.

The arrest occurred off Adams Road, approximately 10 miles south of London after Deputy Faulconer conducted a traffic stop on a black colored Nissan Altima he had observed weaving on the roadway.

Deputy Faulconer detected the odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from the driver and conducted an investigation determining that he was under the influence.

Upon arrest this subject became belligerent and created a disturbance in the motel parking lot where the traffic stop had occurred.

Jefferson Seabaugh was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense; disorderly conduct second-degree; and rear license plate not illuminated and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

Assisting on the investigation was Sgt. John Inman and Deputy Milton Storm.
