LSO deputies lodge 4 in LCDC on drug charges

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Detective Kyle Gray along with Detective Kevin Berry and Senior Deputy Brandon Broughton and Deputy Josh Scott arrested 4 individuals on Wednesday afternoon December 7, 2016 at approximately 2:15 PM.

The arrest occurred at Corbin Manor Apartments off American Greeting Card road, approximately 8 miles south of London while detectives and deputies were investigating a complaint there.

Detectives found a 13 month old child in the residence where the child's mother admitted snorting meth earlier – drug paraphernalia was found there, too. In addition a 2-year-old was found there and the two year old's mother admitted snorting meth earlier.

The Three adult individuals in the residence were determined to be under the influence and a fourth adult showed up at the residence during the investigation and was also determined to be under the influence.

Those arrested are identified as:

• Vanesse Lowe age 25 of Hemlock Dr., Corbin charged with public intoxication – controlled substances; possession of drug paraphernalia; and wanton endangerment – first-degree.

• Ashley Hamilton age 27 of Corbin Manor Apartments, Corbin charged with public intoxication – controlled substances; possession of drug paraphernalia; and wanton endangerment – first-degree.

• Clarence Sizemore age 36 of McDonald Lane ,Heidrick, Kentucky charged with public intoxication – controlled substances; possession of drug paraphernalia; and wanton endangerment – first-degree.

• Christopher Surgener age 32 of Ky. Family drive, Corbin charged with public intoxication – controlled substances.

Social Services placed the children with other family members.

All four individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
