KSP - Drug and Fugitive Arrests / Clay County

London, Ky. (December 07, 2017) – On Tuesday, December 05, 2017 at approximately 11:00 PM, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from KSP on a suspicious vehicle complaint on KY HWY 149 at Chadwell Road in Clay County.

Upon arrival, Trooper Jared Smith was able to identify the two occupants as Michael S. Ganues, 38, of Dallas, Georgia and Michelle L. Lindsey, 49, of Dry Ridge, KY.

Further investigation revealed that Ganues was a wanted fugitive out of Perry County, KY for an armed robbery of a Rite Aid pharmacy and Lindsey was a wanted fugitive from both Georgia and Kentucky.

Ganues was arrested in reference to the Perry County warrant and lodged in the Clay County Detention Center and charged with Robbery 1st Degree.

Lindsey was arrested and lodged in the Clay County Detention Center on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine), Giving Officer a False Name and Address, Fugitive from the State of Georgia and several other warrants from Kentucky.

Trooper Jared Smith is continuing the investigation. He was assisted by Trooper Josh Wilson and the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
