Man facing numerous charges after complaint - Laurel County



Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Larry Parrott arrested Anthony Allen age 28 of Slate Lake Church Rd., London on Wednesday night July 1, 2015 at approximately 9:51 P.M.

The arrest occurred off Slate Lick Church Road, approximately 6 miles north of London after Deputy Parrott was dispatched to a complaint of a male subject that was at his mother's house beating on the door and stating that he was going to burn the house down if he got in.

When Deputy Parrott arrived at the scene this subject was attempting to leave the residence in a white colored Pontiac Grand Am.

Following an investigation conducted by Deputy Parrott, this subject was charged with driving on DUI suspended license – first offense; failure to register transfer of motor vehicle; failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance – first offense; and numerous other traffic violations.

In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel County warrant of arrest charging terroristic threatening – third-degree.

Anthony Allen was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
