Woman robbed at gunpoint in Laurel County - Police searching for two subjects

Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Milton Storm along with Sgt. Brett Reeves and KSP/ CVE officer Mike Hamblin were dispatched to an armed robbery which occurred at a residence on Laurel Lake Rd., North, on Friday night July 3, 2015 at approximately 11:04 PM.

Apparently, a 53-year-old woman was alone in her home when two male subjects entered her residence through an unlocked front door and robbed her at gunpoint taking her purse that contained a small amount of cash and the keys to her home, car, and outbuildings.

The two subjects fled the scene and have not been located.

Suspect number one is described as a male, tall with slim build, brown eyes, curly hair wearing a black hoodie and armed with a small rusty colored revolver.

The second suspect is described as a male, medium-heighth, wearing a hoodie with the hood pulled over his head and face.
