Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Sgt. Larry Parrott arrested Cameron Cornett age 25 Of London early Thursday morning, November 26, 2015 at approximately 1:51 AM.
The arrest occurred off West Laurel Rd., approximately 2 miles west of London after Sgt. Parrott investigated a single vehicle rollover traffic crash involving a white colored Ford escape driven by this subject.
Allegedly this subject stated that he had been texting, and lost control of his vehicle while traveling westbound on Ky 192 when his right front wheel dropped off the roadway and the vehicle flipped traveling approximately 85 feet and came to rest in a ditch.
Sgt. Parrott detected the odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from this subject, and following an investigation determined he was under the influence.
Cameron Cornett was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
