Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Josh Scott investigated a two vehicle injury traffic crash which occurred on US 25, approximately 6 miles south of London near Lily on Tuesday morning August 23, 2016 at approximately 8:23 AM.
The investigating deputy reports that apparently a red colored Sonoma pickup traveling northbound on US 25 attempted a left turn and collided with a southbound silver colored Toyota car.
The driver of the red Sonoma pickup was identified as:
Gary Long age 58 of Corbin – transported to St. Joseph Hospital London for treatment of possible injuries.
The driver of the silver colored Toyota car was identified as:
Shannon Sams age 47 of Corbin- no injuries reported.
Assisting at the scene of the crash was: Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County, London Laurel Rscue Dquad, and Lily Volunteer Fire Department.
