Sheriff John Pickard reports that Deputies recovered a New Holland LS-160 skid-steer that was stolen from a construction company working on the Girdler Elementary School in 2008.

Deputy Townsley received an anonymous tip that a stolen piece of equipment was at the residence of Hilt Bryant aka Amon Garland off of Garland Cemetery Road in Gray KY.

Deputy Townsley and Gambrel responded and was given consent to search the property, a New Holland skid steer was located and the vin plates had been removed,

Deputies sized the skid steer and after further investigation identified the skid steer vin number and that it had been stolen in 2008.

Deputy Townsley obtained an arrest warrant for Hilt Bryant aka Amon Garland for Receiving Stolen Property over $10000 and Obscuring the identity of a machine .
