Laurel County / Illegal drug arrests at dollar store

Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Greg Turner and Deputy Steve Hoskins responded to a complaint at Dollar General Store in Lily off U.S. 25, 5 miles south of London on Monday afternoon (1-30-2012) at approx. 4:30 P.M. that a suspected shoplifter was in the parking lot arguing with the store manager.
Deputies arrived and conducted an investigation, and as a result discovered illegal drugs in the possession of a male subject to include 34 alprazolam in a pill bottle that was filled on 1-26-2012 for a quantity of 90.
Also another pill bottle for Bupropion was found containing 40 hydrocodone pills. Both bottles had another person’s name on them.
Arrested was: Bobby R. Eversole age 39 of Corn Cemetery Road, London charged with 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, and Prescription Controlled Substance not In Proper Container 1st Offense.
Also arrested at the scene was: Gladys S. Eversole age 49 of Corn Cemetery Road, London charged with 2 counts of Possession Of A Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, and Possession of Controlled Substance Not In Proper Container 1st Offense.
Discovered in her possession was a metal container with 40 pink pills in it (suspected of being valium).
Also found was a plastic pill cutter containing 3 valiums and 6 hydrocodone pills.
Both accused were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Facility.
