(Richmond, KY) – On Monday, May 14, 2012 the Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post, placed wreaths at the graveside of two fallen Troopers.

(Richmond, KY.) - On October 1, 1962, U.S. President John F. Kennedy signed into public law a joint resolution of the 87^th Congress designating May 15 as Police Officer’s Memorial Day in honor of federal, state, and municipal peace officers who have been killed or disabled in the line of duty.  Each year, the calendar week in which May 15 falls is called "Police Week."  The 2011 National Peace Officer’s Memorial Week has been designated May 13-19, 2012.

(Richmond, KY)- Monday, April 30, 2012 at 3:13 am EST, the Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post, received a complaint on Cedar Hill Drive in Madison County. Neighbors reported that a female had been physically assaulted by her boyfriend and was running up the street in her underwear.

(Waco, KY) – Friday, April 20, 2012 at 7:59 am EST, the Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post responded to a two vehicle collision on KY 52 near the Estill County Line.  Trooper Ken Bradley was dispatched to the scene, as well as several other officers, Madison County EMS, Madison County Coroners office, Madison County Sheriff’s Office, Madison County Rescue Squad and Waco Fire Department.
