(Richmond, KY)- The Kentucky State Police held a promotional ceremony in Frankfort on August 17, 2012. Three of those promoted will be assigned to Richmond Post.

Toby Coyle, a 12 year veteran of the Kentucky State Police, was promoted to sergeant and will remain assigned to Richmond Post. Sergeant Coyle is a 1995 graduate of Madison Southern High School and a 1999 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. He and his wife, Brandi, live in Berea. Sergeant Coyle’s parents, Mike and Linda Coyle, live in Berea and his father is a retired KSP Trooper.
Sonny Dunaway, an eight-year veteran of KSP, was promoted to sergeant and will be assigned to the Richmond Post. Sergeant Dunaway is a 1994 graduate of Lee County High School and an active duty United States Marine from 1994-1998. He and his wife, Kristy, have 2 children and live in Beattyville. Sergeant Dunaway’s father, Sonny Dunaway lives in Beattyville.
Jamie Heller, a 17 year veteran with KSP, was promoted to lieutenant and transferred from Columbia Post to Richmond Post. Lieutenant Heller is a 1988 graduate of DeSales High School in Louisville and a 1992 graduate of the University of Louisville. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two children and live in Larue County. Lieutenant Heller’s parents, John and Sheri Heller, live in Louisville.
