According to local sources two Clay County men charged with murder and currently being held in the Clay County Jail are behind bars in relation to the death of Eli Marcum.
On Saturday, December 08, 2012 at 3:06 PM the Kentucky State Police, Post 11 London, received a report, from the Clay County 911 Center, of a person found deceased on Saw Mill Hollow Road in the Crawlfish community of Clay County.
The burned corpse was later determined after autopsy to be Eli Marcum age 62 of Hima, KY who had been reported missing for several days.
Gerald L. Sizemore age 52 aka Jerry Sizemore was charged with murder and booked in the Clay County Detention Center on Feb. 04 2013.
Vernon Renus Delph age 46 was charged with murder and booked in the Clay County Detention Center on Feb 09, 2013.
Sources go on to say that at least two more individuals are being sought by police in connection to Marcum's death.

*UPDATE* According to The Manchester Enterprise both Sizemore and Delph were arraigned for Eli Marcum's murder on Tuesday and that District Judge Henria Bailey-Lewis entered not guilty pleas for the pair.
