Event kicks off PRIDE Spring Cleanup Month in southern and eastern Kentucky

 

WILLIAMSBURG, KY — Volunteers of all ages are invited to join the excitement of the 5th Annual PRIDE Spring Cleanup Kick-Off Celebration at Cumberland Falls State Resort Park on Saturday, March 24.

The Volunteer Cup was shown off during planning meeting for the PRIDE Spring Cleanup Kick-Off. Holding the trophy — which will go to the county with the most volunteers at the cleanup — are Judy Brimm, Whitley County PRIDE Coordinator, and Andrew Powell, McCreary County Deputy Judge-Executive. In the front row are Mark Davis, George Sampson, Amber Owens, Willa Powers and Stephan Broussard. In the back row are Jack Koger, Joe Metzmeier, Bret Smitley, Steve Gilbert, Dave Jordan, Pam Gibson, Greg Whitis and Randal Napier.
