Complaint leads to arrests on Crawfish Road / Clay County

Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on March 27, 2019 at approximately 1:00 AM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Tommy Houston arrested two individuals off Crawfish Road.

Arrested was:

Frankie Carpenter age 37 and Gretta Dezarn age 36 both of Crawfish Road.

The arrest occurred when Deputy Houston was dispatch to a complaint of two subjects wearing camouflage clothing attempting to break into a building.

Upon arrival of Crawfish Road, Deputy Houston observed two subjects matching the description that was given to him walking down the road carrying a duffle bag.

When Deputy Houston made contact with the subjects they had stated they was checking on a neighbor’s property because they had heard someone was trying to break into the residence.

When Deputy Houston detained both subjects he found in their possession different assortment of burglary tools.

Through investigation, Deputy Houston learned the caller had ran off the two subjects prior to the arrival on scene.
