Stolen ATV Recovery Lands 3 Laurel Residents in Clay County Jail

Clay County, Ky. -  Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on July 9, 2019 at approximately 9:30 PM Clay County Chief Deputy Clifton Jones and Clay County Sheriff Deputy Jeremy Gabbard arrested 3 Laurel County residents.

Arrested was: Ralph Hunt, 44 of London, Troy Sizemore age 68 of London and Kimberly Burney age 23 of London.

The arrests occurred when Chief Jones and Deputy Gabbard were dispatched to a complaint on North Highway 421 involving a possible theft of a ATV that Deputy Tommy Houston was investigating.

Upon arrival, owners of the ATV had blocked off the road so the three individuals along with the stolen ATV could not escape.

Upon running the information of the ATV it was confirmed through Clay County Dispatch it was stolen, through investigation it was determined one of the passengers was under the influence of intoxicants.

Located on the person of one of the individuals Chief Deputy Jones located a large amount of suspected Methamphetamine.
