Laurel County, Ky. (October 6, 2019) - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Taylor McDaniel along with Sgt. Brett Reeves, and Deputy Robert Reed arrested Timothy Smith age 35 of Manchester, KY on Friday morning October 4, 2019 at approximately 8:34 AM.
The arrest occurred off North Laurel Road, approximately 1 mile north of London after this subject was found intoxicated at a business there.
In addition, it was determined that this subject had outstanding warrants of arrest.
Timothy Smith was charged with:
- Alcohol intoxication in a public place
In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging:
- Failure to appear in court on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence – second offense
- Driving on DUI suspended license – first offense
- Fleeing or evading police – second-degree – motor vehicle
- Possession of open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle prohibited
- Other violations
Also, Smith was charged on a Clay District Court bench warrant of arrest charging:
- Failure to appear in court on charges of operating on suspended or revoked operator's license
- Other violations
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
