Human Remains Found Sunday in Jackson County Identified

RICHMOND, KY. (November 6, 2019) – The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post is continuing their investigation into the death of Joseph Isaacs.

As part of the ongoing investigation an autopsy was performed Monday morning at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort.  As a result of the autopsy, the human remains located Sunday in Jackson County have been identified as Joseph Isaacs, 54 years old of McKee, KY., who was reported missing on November 2, 2019.

KSP Detectives will continue their investigation over the coming days, into what led to the death of Joseph Isaacs. Anyone who may have information regarding this investigation is asked to contact KSP Richmond Post.

McKee, KY. (November 3, 2019) – The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post was notified just before 10:00 am this morning after a possible body was located off of Rock Lick Road.

The initial investigation indicates, an unidentified body has been recovered after being found near the side of the road.  The remains have been taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort for an autopsy and identification.

The ongoing death investigation is being conducted by KSP Post 7 Detective Anthony Bowling.  He was assisted at the scene by KSP Personnel, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, and the Jackson County Coroner.
