Harlan, KY. (January 13, 2020) – On Saturday January 11, 2020 Kentucky State Police, Post 10 Harlan received a call about a female walking away from the Hope Center in Harlan. Trooper Aaron Caldwell responded and began an investigation.
Preliminary investigation indicates Shanna Newsome walked away from the Hope Center. Ms. Newsome had been court ordered to the facility.
KSP is asking for assistance from the public on locating her. Ms. Newsome is a white female, 5'5'', 185 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. She has tattoos on her back, left arm and left wrist.
Ms. Newsome is from the Louisa area of Ky. Anyone with any information is urged to contact KSP Post 10 Harlan at 606-573-3131. Case remains under investigation by Tpr. Aaron Caldwell.
