LONDON, KY (January 18, 2020) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Bailiff Paige Vanhook arrested four individuals on Friday morning January 17, 2020 at the Laurel County Judicial Center in London on unrelated bench warrants.
Those arrested included:
Dawnita B. Hernandez age 29 of Corbin on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging:
- Failure to appear in court on numerous violations
John A. Schell age 29 of Talking Rock, Georgia on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging:
- Failure to report for MCR regarding charges of two counts of assault – second-degree – police officer is victim
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence
- Escape third-degree
- Two counts of wanton endangerment – first-degree – police officer is victim
- Disorderly conduct – second-degree
- Resisting arrest
- Failure to produce insurance card
Dennis M. Johnson age 35 of London on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging:
- Failure to report for MCR regarding charges of burglary – second-degree
- Theft by unlawful taking $500 or more but under $10,000
Ashley N. Jones age 37 of London on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging:
- Failure to appear in court for PTC regarding charges of theft by unlawful taking – shoplifting under $500
- Contempt of court
These four individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
