Two arrested after Deputies in Laurel, Co., Kentucky were dispatched to complaint of female victim being held against her will

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9 Deputy Gary Mehler along with Deputy Tommy Houston and Sgt. John Inman arrested two individuals early Thursday morning May 21, 2020 at approximately 12:37 AM.

The arrests occurred off Branch Rd. East, approximately 8 miles north of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of a female subject being held against her will there.

Upon arrival at the scene the female victim came out of the woods near a residence there and stated that she had been held against her will by Lee Pittman and that he threatened to tie her up and threatened physical harm to her.

In addition, he allegedly made her open the hood of her car and began pulling wires loose from the engine so she could not leave the residence there.

Deputies then made contact with persons at a residence there while attempting to locate the suspect there.

A male subject there (Timothy Robinson) told deputies no one else was upstairs in the residence although deputies could hear movement upstairs and deputies located the suspect in the upstairs area of the residence attempting to hide, and following a struggle with deputies this subject was taken into custody.

This individual continued to scream and yell and attempted to run away and attempted to kick Deputy Mehler while being escorted to the police car. This individual was determined to be under the influence.

The two arrested individuals are identified as:

In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging:

These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
