LONDON, KY (September 16, 2020) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Joseph L. Benge, the suspect in a double murder off Tomcat Trail in Laurel County has been taken into custody.
The double homicide discovery was made on Tuesday afternoon September 15th.
LSO is reporting that the suspect, Joseph L. Benge age 40 who fled the scene in a white 2015 Ford Taurus was taken into custody Tuesday night September 15, 2020 by the Kentucky State Police in Mayfield, Ky.
The Laurel Sheriff's Office is investigating.
