LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Greg Poynter along with Deputy Travis Napier arrested Kristopher Lee Engle age 39 of London on Friday night June 4, 2021 at approximately 9:03 PM.
The arrest occurred off Helvetia Road approximately 2 miles north of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of a subject there attempting to set his neighbors hay bales on fire and doing martial arts against imaginary people.
When deputies arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation they determined that this individual was under the influence.
Kristopher Lee Engle was charged with:
disorderly conduct – second-degree; public intoxication – controlled substances.
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
