LONDON, KY (June 11, 2021) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Justin Taylor along with Deputy Landry Collett arrested Brandy Tequila Gilbert age 35 of David Hibbits Lane, London early Friday morning June 11, 2021 at approximately 2:38 AM.
The arrest occurred in a motel parking lot off Hal Rogers Parkway in London following a traffic stop conducted on a black Toyota Avalon that had an equipment violation.
During the stop deputies located:
- A large amount of suspected Methamphetamine
- Xanax,
- Digital scales
- A glass smoking pipe
- Unused plastic bags
- US currency
Brandy Gilbert was charged with:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – third-degree – first offense
- Possession of Drug paraphernalia
- Prescription controlled substances not in proper container – first offense
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
