New survey examines data from 153 school districts around the state

FRANKFORT, Ky. – The percentage of Kentucky teens using prescription drugs for off-label purposes has dropped dramatically over the past four years, a new survey has found.

As a life long resident of eastern Kentucky, I have often contemplated what makes our part of the Commonwealth so different from others. While the beautiful landscape of our rolling hills and rich Appalachian culture certainly distinguish us from other areas of the country, the economic challenges we face also make us unique.

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentuckians are showing no signs of slowing in seeking information about affordable, reliable health care insurance through kynect. Since the state’s online health benefit exchange launched on Tuesday, almost 118,000 unique visitors to the site have viewed nearly 2 million web pages.

Attorney General Jack Conway announced has that a state employee and a welfare recipient have both been indicted by a Franklin County Grand Jury for assistance program fraud.
