Mrs. Billie Sue Abner, age 78 of the Blue Hole Community of Manchester, departed this life on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at her home. She was born on Sunday, September 22, 1940 in Manchester to the union of Beve P. and Cassie Bundy Crawford. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Home Baptist Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter: Gayla Horn, her grandchildren: Ashley Suzzette Henson and her husband Antwan and Sydney Smith and her husband Tim, her great grandchildren: Kaden Henson, Amelia Henson and Madelyn Rose Smith. Also surviving are her sisters: Nancy Hoskins and Ruby Hensley and her brother: Ronnie Crawford as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Beve P. and Cassie Crawford, her husband: Bill Abner, her sisters: Jean Hoskins and Mary Philpot and her brother: Paul Crawford.
A celebration of life for Mrs. Billie Sue Abner will be conducted on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Darrell Bargo and Rev. Scotty Sumner will be presiding. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Bill in the Abner Cemetery in the Blue Hole Community.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday evening from 6 PM until 9 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
