John Sams, 88, of Manchester, KY, passed away Thursday, May 2nd, at his home.
John was born in Manchester, KY on November 17, 1930, a son of the late Daily (Hacker) and Ambrose Sams.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lattie (Bowling) Sams.
John is survived by his son, Doug Sams, of Manchester.
He is also survived by his sister, Audrey Howard of London; two grandchildren: Kelly Sams and Kendra Sams; seven great grandchildren: Kendalynn Cole, McKenzie Sams, Landon Sams, Brayen Harris, Haley White, Reagan Wright and Riley White.
In addition to his wife and parents, John was preceded in death by his great grandson, Chase White.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 7th at the Garrard Baptist Church in Manchester, KY. Burial will follow at the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 7th at the Garrard Baptist Church in Manchester, KY.
