Frankfort, KY (November 16, 2022) - Governor Andy Beshear's Executive Order to allow the possession and use of legally purchased medical cannabis is not without opposition.

FRANKFORT, KY - In an effort to reduce Kentuckians’ reliance on addictive opioids and to provide them relief from pain, Governor Andy Beshear said yesterday that, starting next year, Kentuckians with certain severe medical conditions and who meet specific requirements will be able to possess and use small amounts of legally purchased medical cannabis to treat their medical conditions.

Lebanon, KY - The Kentucky State Police (KSP), Post 15 is reporting that on November 13, 2022, the KSP received a call from the Marion County 911 Center in reference to a 1-month-old child that had arrived at Spring View Hospital emergency room in Lebanon.

HYDEN, KY - The Leslie County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that on Saturday, November 12, 2022 Deputy Sheriff Shane Wilson was on patrol in the Jacks Creek community of Leslie County. While there Deputy Wilson observed a motorcycle with no registration plates.

SALYERSVILLE, KY (November 14, 2022) – The Kentucky State Police is reporting that at approximately 7:21 A.M., KSP, Post 9 in Pikeville, was notified of a single vehicle collision involving a Magoffin County school bus on KY 40/Horsepen Fork.

COLUMBIA, KY – The Kentucky State Police is reporting that on Friday, November 11, 2022 at approximately 9:40 P.M. CST, KSP Post 15, Columbia received a call requesting assistance with a riot at the Adair Regional Detention Center, a maximum security juvenile detention center, located in Adair County.
