Southeastern Kentucky Man Sentenced to Life Imprisonment for Violent Kidnappings

LONDON, KY The U.S. Attorney’s Office Eastern District of Kentucky is reporting that George Oscar Messer, 62, of Rockholds, Kentucky, was sentenced to Life Imprisonment on Wednesday, by United States District Judge Robert E. Wier.  Messer was convicted by a federal jury of two counts of kidnapping, in January of this year.

MANCHESTER, KY (May 13, 2022) - According to social media posts from the Manchester Police Department and the Clay County Sheriff's Office, both agencies are reporting the arrests of four Clay County, Kentucky residents in connection with an investigation into a Louisville-based drug trafficking operation.
