WASHINGTON COUNTY, OR (September 13, 2021) - The Oregon State Police is reporting that on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at approximately 5:15 PM, OSP Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a single vehicle crash on Highway 6 near milepost 33.

LONDON, KY (September 13, 2021) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Dustin Saylor arrested Steven James Maxey age 39 of Scottsville, KY on Sunday night September 12, 2021 at approximately 10:01 PM.

YAMHILL COUNTY, OR (September 13, 2021) - The Oregon State Police is reporting that on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at approximately 11:00 PM, OSP Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 18 near milepost 49, east of McMinnville. 

LONDON, KY (September 13, 2021) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Justin Taylor arrested Paris Woosley, JR age 44 of Calhoun, KY on Sunday night September 12, 2021 at approximately 11:43 PM.

MARION COUNTY, OR (September 13, 2021) - On Friday, September 10, 2021 at approximately 12:18 AM, Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a two-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 5 near milepost 264.

LEGISLATIVE UPDATE

Just a day after I finished writing my last update, the governor issued a call for the legislature to convene a special session to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. We convened on Tuesday, September 7 and spent a whirlwind three days considering legislation, eventually overriding several vetoes issued by the governor before leaving Frankfort late Thursday night.
