LONDON, KY (September 17, 2020) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective James Sizemore along with Deputy Landry Collett, Deputy Tommy Houston, and Shift Sgt. John Inman arrested Jaden Thompson age 19 of Burnett Rd., London early Thursday morning September 17, 2020 at approximately 4:59 AM.

LONDON, KY (September 16, 2020) - The Laurel County Sheriff's Office is reporting that: As the investigation into the double homicide continues, on Wednesday afternoon Sept. 16th Laurel County Sheriff John Root, Deputy Taylor McDaniel, Lieut. Chris Edwards, and Maj. Chuck Johnson executed a search warrant on the suspect vehicle, a 2015 white colored Ford Taurus that had been impounded upon Joseph Benge’s arrest in Mayfield Kentucky. Officers there recovered a handgun in the passenger compartment with the accused.
