FRANKFORT, Ky. — Researchers will use a helicopter to locate and capture elk this month as part of a major research study on elk reproduction and population growth. The research will be conducted throughout Kentucky’s elk zone and will launch this month.

Attorney General Cameron Leads 17 States in Filing Supreme Court Amicus Brief Supporting State Authority to Control Licensing Process for Abortion Clinics

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Attorney General Daniel Cameron on Friday January 10, 2020 led a 17-state coalition in filing an amicus brief before the U.S. Supreme Court in Curtis T. Hill, Jr. v. Whole Woman’s Health Alliance. In the case, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit ordered the State of Indiana to issue a license to a would-be provider of abortion services, Whole Woman’s Health Alliance, after the state initially denied the license.

Corinth, KY. (January 9, 2019) – Kentucky State Police Post 5 in Campbellsburg is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a cold case murder victim. In 1988, a female victim was located in a rural area laying in close proximity to a roadway. Due to decomposition, the victim has not yet been identified.
