All Inmates at a Jail in Ky. Scheduled for Covid-19 Testing after More Employees & an Inmate Test Positive for the Virus

MANCHESTER, KY (October 29, 2020) - UPDATE: Clay County Jailer Linda Smallwood is reporting that: The Clay County Detention Center now has more employees and an inmate that have tested positive for Covid-19.

Linda Smallwood 200In a statement released Thursday morning October 29, 2020 on her Facebook page, Jailer Linda Smallwood (left) said "Unfortunately, we now have Four Employees that was positive for COVID-19. We do have one inmate positive.

All precautions are being taken. All inmates are scheduled to be tested.

Do not call Jail for information!

We are working with a short staff and in a stressful situation.

I will update you as needed.

Work Release is suspended and no visitation at this time.

Please pray that this will pass quickly and everyone will be fine."
