Indiana Woman Found with Drugs & Paraphernalia during Investigation on a Vehicle in Kentucky

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Justin Taylor along with Deputy Landry Collett arrested Marlene Renée Aubrey 54 of Silver Creek Dr., Clarksville, IN early Monday morning November 9, 2020 at approximately 2:05 AM.

The arrest occurred off West Cumberland Gap Parkway in a business parking lot after deputies conducted an investigation on a vehicle whose driver appeared to be passed out.

Upon awakening the driver, she was found in possession of:

  • Plastic bags containing suspected Methamphetamine
  • A snorting straw
  • Glass smoking pipes with suspected Meth residue on them

Marlene Renée Aubrey was charged with:

  • Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
