Manchester man, one of 3 arrested at a motel in Kentucky during an LSO drug investigation

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Justin Taylor along with Deputy Landry Collett, Deputy Hobie Daugherty, and shift Sgt. John Inman arrested three individuals early Friday morning November 13, 2020 at approximately 1:02 AM.

The arrests at a occurred at a motel in London while deputies were investigating a drug activity complaint there when they encountered three individuals and found:

  • Scales
  • Needles
  • Suspected Methamphetamine
  • Subjects wanted on outstanding bench warrants of arrest

Those arrested included:

Anthony Lane Lipps age 38 of Lipps Branch Rd., Manchester, KY charged on:

  • A Clay District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court
  • A second bench warrant of arrest from Laurel County charging failure to appear in court regarding child support

Joshua Jim Hoskins age 28 of Vaughn Ridge Rd., London charged with:

  • Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – second offense – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Drug paraphernalia

In addition this subject was wanted on:

  • Six outstanding bench warrants of arrest, one of which included escape – second-degree and theft by failure to make required disposition of property

Jeremy R. Frye age 23 of Lewiston Rd., London charged with:

  • Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Drug paraphernalia

These three individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
