Laurel Sheriff's Detective Jails Two on "Drug Trafficking" Warrants In Southeasten Kentucky

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective James Sizemore along with Detective Bryon Lawson, Detective Robert Reed, and Deputy Dylan Messer arrested two individuals on Friday morning December 18, 2020 at approximately 11:22 AM.

The arrests occurred off Slate Lick Road approximately 2 miles north of London after these two subjects were arrested on drug trafficking warrants regarding an investigation conducted by Laurel Sheriff's Detective James Sizemore charging:

  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – Methamphetamine

The two arrested individuals were identified as:

Lonnie O. Adams age 62 of Slate Lick Road, London charged with:

  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine

Sheila L. Adams age 57 of Slate Lick Road, London charged with:

  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
