Methamphetamine Seized & Female Injured with a Knife during "Drug Activity Complaint" Investigation in Southern Kentucky

WILLIAMSBURG, KY - The Whitley County Sheriff's Department is reporting that: On Friday, December 18, 2020 at approximately 1:00 in the morning, KSP Trooper Brandon Creekmore and Deputy Chad Estep went to a home off of Bee Creek to answer a drug activity complaint and to serve an arrest warrant.

Trooper Creekmore and Deputy Estep located:

  • Methamphetamine
  • Marijuana
  • Drug Paraphernalia
  • Digital scales

During the search, a female attempted to flee the home and was subdued during a brief scuffle. The female kicked law enforcement and made numerous verbal threats.

After being detained, the female was being led out of the home and grabbed a knife from the counter in an attempt to hurt herself and law enforcement.

The female injured herself with the knife and was treated at Baptist Health and is now incarcerated.

Arrested at the scene was:

Mike Hill of Bee Creek Road was charged with:

  • Trafficking in Methamphetamine
  • Wanton Endangerment 2nd
  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Drug parapernalia
  • Prescription not in proper container

Anthony Eversole of Whipporwill Road was charged with:

  • An outstanding arrest warrant out of Whitley County

Heather Morgan of Corbin was charged with:

  • Trafficking in Marijuana
  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Drug paraphernalia
  • Wanton Endnagerment
  • Resisting arrest
  • Assault 3rd on a Police officer
  • Presription not in proper container
