Man Under Arrest In Clay County, Kentucky Found in Possession of Substance Believed to be Methamphetamine

MANCHESTER, KY - The Manchester Police Department is reporting that: On Thursday, March 4, 2021 at approximately 1:15 AM Manchester City Police Officer, Wes Wolfe observed a vehicle traveling along Richmond Road matching the description of a complaint on a suspicious vehicle at a residence that came through Clay County 911.

Officer Wolfe then determined through Clay County 911 that the vehicle had expired tags. Officer Wolfe then initiated a traffic stop.

Upon making contact with the driver who was identified to be Jared Sizemore, it was determined that Sizemore had an active warrant for his arrest.

Sizemore was placed under arrest and transported to Clay County Detention center where he was found to be in possession of a white crystal like substance believed to be Methamphetamine.
Jared Sizemore was charged with the following:

  • Arrest Warrant
  • No / Expired registration plates
  • Rear license not illuminated
  • Poss cont sub - 1st degree - 1st off (Methamphetamine)
  • Promoting Contraband - 1st degree
