Southeast Kentucky Man Arrested For Drug Trafficking & Contraband Seized In Motel Room Near Corbin

LONDON, KY (March 19, 2021) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Justin Taylor along with Deputy Landry Collett and shift Sgt. John Inman arrested Nicholas Anthony Cross age 32 of Woodhills Estates, Corbin early Friday morning March 19, 2021 at approximately 5:18 AM.

The arrest occurred at a motel in southern Laurel County while deputies were conducting a drug investigation and found this individual in a room there in possession of:

  • A large amount of suspected Methamphetamine
  • Heroin
  • Marijuana
  • Digital scales
  • US currency
  • A revolver pistol

Nicholas Cross was charged with:

  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – first offense – Heroin
  • Trafficking in Marijuana – first offense
  • Possession of Drug paraphernalia

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
