LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bo Harris arrested Tammy McNew age 40 of Danville, KY early Saturday morning September 11, 2021 at approximately 5:19 AM.
The arrest occurred on I–75 approximately 8 miles South of London after Deputy Harris was dispatched to a traffic crash there involving a gray colored Nissan Altima that had hit a rock wall.
During his investigation at the scene it was determined that McNew was a federal fugitive wanted by the US Marshal service in Virginia.
Tammy McNew was charged with:
- Being a fugitive from Virginia
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
