LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's court security officer Clay Shelton arrested Corey North age 20 of Barbourville on Friday morning September 17, 2021 at approximately 8:57 AM.
The arrest occurred in London after this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging violation of bond conditions regarding charges of:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
- Two counts of possession of a controlled substance – third-degree
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
In addition this subject was charged on a Whitley District Court bench warrant of arrest charging:
- Failure to appear in court
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
