LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler arrested George Paul Walker age 45 of Manchester on Tuesday afternoon December 28, 2021 at approximately 3:55 PM.
The arrest occurred on Highway 192 in London following a traffic stop conducted on a black Chrysler 200 being operated at 87 mph in a 55 mph zone.
During the stop it was determined that the driver was operating on a suspended operator's license and had three outstanding warrants for failure to appear in court in Clay County.
George Walker was charged with:
- SPEED 10 MPH OVER
- OPERATING ON SUS OR REV OPER LICENSE
- NO REGISTRATION PLATES
- NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT
- FAILURE TO APPEAR
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
