Louisville, Kentucky Man Facing multiple Drug related Charges in Pulaski County

SOMERSET, KY - Pulaski County Sheriff Greg Speck is reporting that on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 2:10 AM, Deputy Tan Hudson arrested Michael Heath, age 39 of 1000 West Market Street, Louisville, Kentucky 40202.

HEATH arrest 2 2 2022 200Deputy Hudson saw a 2019 Kia Optima pulling from Dry Branch Road commit a traffic infraction at the stop sign with KY 1247. He began to follow the car and noticed erratic driving, so he stopped the car.

When Deputy Hudson approached the driver, he noticed that the driver appeared to be under the influence.

Deputy Hudson also noticed a strong smell of Marijuana coming from the car.

When the driver stepped out, Deputy Hudson was able to locate a small amount of Marijuana in the car and on Mr. Heath.

After the arrest, Deputy Hudson located suspected Methamphetamine, suspected Heroin, and suspected Marijuana in the center console.

Michael Heath was  charged with:

• Careless Driving
• Operating on a Suspended or Revoked Operator’s License
• Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance
• Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
• Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Heroin)
• Possession of Marijuana
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Mr. Heath was transported to the Pulaski County Detention Center where he remains lodged as of this press release.
