Dewey “Peetop” Ealy, 91, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away Saturday, April 6th, at his home. "Peetop" was born in Manchester, KY, on April 18th,1932, a son of the late Lewis and Troy Smallwood Ealy.
"Peetop" is survived by his children: Danny Ealy (Teresa) of Indianapolis, David Ealy (Robin) of Corydon, Della Draganchuk of New Albany, and Donna Ealy of Corydon.
He is also survived by his grandchildren: Douglas Wayne Crawford, Bryon David Crawford, Matthew Levi Crawford, Joshua Ealy, Katie Ealy, Jaramie Ealy, Sylvia Leona, Evanne Estel, Mary Anne, Danielle Madella, Olivia Christonnie, Mala Marie, and Lusha Georqetta- Cherelle; and 29 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Dewy is preceded in death by his son, Jeffery Bart Ealy, his grandchildren: Paul Curtis Ealy and Carrie Jo White, and the following brothers and sisters: Elmo, Ramon, Della, Leo, Kenneth, OB, Ronnie, and Morris.
Services for "Peetop" will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 10th, at Britton Funeral Home, with Melvin Beecher officiating. Burial will follow in the Ealy Cemetery on Lockards Creek.
Visitation for "Peetop" will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, April 10th, at Britton Funeral Home.
