New York Man Sentenced for Aggravated Identity Theft and Attempted Bank Fraud

COVINGTON, KY – A Bronx, N.Y., man, John Sapienza, 60, was sentenced on Tuesday, by U.S. District Judge David Bunning, to 38 months in prison, for aggravated identity theft and attempted bank fraud.

Congressman Rogers Secures $3 Million to Build Homes for Flood Survivors in Eastern Kentucky

WASHINGTON, DC -- U.S. Rep. Harold “Hal” Rogers (KY-05) secured a $3 million Community Project Funding earmark for the Housing Development Alliance, Inc. (HDA) in the federal Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2024, which was signed into law on March 9, 2024. The funding will be used to build new affordable homes for survivors of the catastrophic flood that swept through Eastern Kentucky in July 2022.
