RISING SUN, MD ( – A suspect is in custody following a search today for a wanted fugitive who led police on a short pursuit in a stolen vehicle before fleeing on foot in Cecil County.

The suspect was involved in a Theft and Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle in Lincoln City.

Newsome, 46, pleaded guilty on Wednesday, before U.S. District Judge Robert Wier, to distribution of methamphetamine and a mixture of heroin and fentanyl, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
