LONDON, KY — Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: The Laurel County "Major Crimes" is conducting a death investigation after the discovery of a deceased individual at a residential house fire off Patton Road approximately 8 miles north of London. The residential fire was reported at 9:11 AM Monday morning April 28, 2025.

CLINTON, KY (April 29, 2025) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 1 troopers are currently investigating a single vehicle collision that claimed the life of the 1st Circuit Commonwealth's Attorney, Honorable Mike Stacy. 

GRESHAM, OR (April 28, 2025) — STATEMENT: Detectives are continuing to investigate the Sunday-morning shooting death of a local teen.  The shooting took place in an apartment in the 4700 block of SW 11^th St in southwest Gresham.
