Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Josh Scott along with Sgt. Brett Reeves and Deputy John Inman arrested Brittany Blackwell age 29 of Ravenwood Cir., London on Tuesday morning November 8, 2016 at approximately 11:11 AM.
The arrest occurred on Ravenwood Circle, approximately 2/10 mile west of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint that this subject and her brother had allegedly been involved in an argument where he went to the bedroom and locked the door to get away from her.
While in the bedroom this subject allegedly stated she was going to burn the house down. A short time later her brother smelled smoke and upon exiting the bedroom found a small fire in the hallway in front of his bedroom door.
Deputies were able to locate this subject (the sister) walking on Ravenwood Circle and arrested her without incident.
Brittany Blackwell was charged with wanton endangerment – first-degree and arson – first-degree and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
